PLACING ON FAIRWAYS

Please refer to the notice board for placing rule.

ABNORMAL COURSE CONDITIONS:

All holes around fixed irrigation equipment.
Free relief is allowed for interference by a deep rut caused by a vehicle.
Relief will be denied for interference to stance from a hole, cast or runway made by a burrowing animal, reptile or bird.

ABNORMAL GROUND CONDITIONS:

All artificially surfaced car paths. (NB. All unpaved paths on the course are deemed to be an integral part of the course and is not abnormal ground conditions)
All other abnormal ground conditions areas are marked with white stakes or white chalk lines.

EMBEDDED BALL

A ball embedded in its own pitch mark but not in sand may, through the green (not in bunkers and penalty areas) be lifted, cleaned and dropped without penalty as near as possible to the spot where it lay, but not nearer to the hole.

OUT OF BOUNDS

The private property to the right of hole numbers 1&2.
The area to the left of the boundary fence on hole numbers 10&11.

PLANTED TREES

If a tree, identified with a white stake, interferes with players stance, lie of the ball or the area of his intended swing, the ball may without penalty, be dropped within one club length of the nearest point of relief, not nearer to the hole.

PENTALTY AREA STAKES

Penalty area stakes are movable obstructions from which relief is obtainable (the ball must lie outside the penalty area in order to obtain relief from such stakes).

DROPPING ZONE 7^TH & 17^TH

Relief of the penalty area may be obtained by dropping a ball for a penalty of one stroke in the marked areas (dropping zones).

DAMAGED AREAS ON PUTTING GREENS

If a ball, which lies on the putting green, lies in a damaged area (i.e. an area not covered with grass) or if there is a damaged area which intervenes on the line of play, the ball may, without penalty, be lifted and placed at the nearest spot not nearer the hole which avoids the situation. Relief under this option may result in the ball being moved to a spot off the putting green but not in the hazard.

STONES IN BUNKERS (Rule 15.1 and 15.2 applies)

Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions.

MEASURING DEVICES

For play at this course a player may obtain distance information by using a device that measures distance only. If during a round a player uses distance measuring device which is designed to gauge or measure conditions that may affect his play (e.g. gradient, wind speed, temperature, act) the player is in breach of Rule 14-3a for which the penalty is disqualification regardless of whether such additional function is actually used.

SCORECARD RESPONSIBILITIES

THE COMMITTEE CHOOSE TO MODIFY Rule 3.3b(4) to require players to show their handicap (HI, course handicap and playing handicap) on the scorecard

NO PLAYER WILL BE ALLOWED ON THE COURSE WITHOUT A SANDBAG AND PITCHFORK!!!
